Sushant Singh Rajput injured on 'Raabta' set

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has injured himself while performing an action stunt for his upcoming romantic drama “Raabta”.

Sushant recently finished the last schedule of the Dinesh Vijan-directed movie and while shooting a high-octane stunt sequence, the 30-year-old star tore a ligament in his right knee.

“We practised a lot and I could do the stunt properly everytime, but unfortunately on the day of the shoot it was pouring and the ground was slippery that caused the injury. I am glad that we could still finish the scene as planned,” Sushant said in a statement.

“Raabta” also stars Kriti Sanon and is set to release in February next year. Sushant, however, has a reason to cheer up as his much-ambitious film, Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic, is nearing its release. The movie will arrive in theatres on September 30.
