Anubhav Sinha's recent movie Article 15 created ripples at the film industry giving hard-hitting statement on castetism in India and now the director is back with another project. The director who has earlier worked with Taapsee Pannu in Mulk is all set to reunite with her for yet another big screen project. Â
Taapsee, 31, shared the news with her followers on Twitter on Sunday. "Cheers to the new beginning with some good food. This one is a subject way too close to my heart. I've been wanting to do this since years. It becomes exciting when it happens with the 'Man of The Moment' @anubhavsinha," she tweeted.Â
The actor hinted at the release date of the movie writing, "8th March 2020 will surely be the day to watch out for."

To which Anubhav replied, "But Friday 6 March ko hai... (But Friday is on March 6)." While the director is currently enjoying the critical-acclaim and a good box office performance for "Article 15", Taapsee is fresh from the success of her thriller "Game Over".Â
A newsppaer daily has earlier reported, that the director's duo wanted to collaborate again after Mulk and Anubhav had Tapsee in mind even when she was hooting for Mulk. The subject of the movie will defy narratives that typecast women. " It questions the society and will deliver a poignant message on world domination by women. Taapsee's protagonist will be a middle-cast girl. " said the source.Â
The movie has been titled Thappad and will go on the floors in late August and will be shot in Delhi.
Taapsee is currently shooting for Saand Ki Aankh, a film based on world's oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. Taapsee said in about 85 per cent of the film, the audience will see them as 60-year-old women. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar and directed by debutante Tushar Hiranandani. Taapsee recently shred one of her several looks from the movie.Â
