Taapsee Pannu has achieved much success in a small period of time. Her journey from Pink to last release Badla has been impeccable by delivering back to back hard-hitting performances that stunned her fans, movie critics. Nevertheless, the actress thinks her stardom is nothing compared to that co-star Akshay Kumar.
The actress who is currently promoting her movie Game Over while talking about Akshay, Taapsee told Deccan Chronicle “I have these kinds of conversations with Akshay, that even I have four releases this year. But if I reach even half the place where he has, I think I will retire after that. He has done so many things that it’s commendable.”
Taapsee who starred with Akshay Kumar in Baby and My Name is Shabana will be next seen in Mission Mangal. The movie also stars Vidya Balan, Bhumi Padnekar, Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha in titular roles. The film will revolve around the scientists who were involved in India’s first Mars Orbiter Mission and release in August.
Game Over is a psychological horror-thriller directed Ashwin Saravanan that shows a wheelchair-bound Taapsee Pannu in a battle against the unknown as she is hounded by a flicky, home invader, shadow. Game Over will be released in Tamil and Telugu along with a dubbed Hindi version on June 14. Saravanan has previously written and directed the Nayanthara-starrer horror film Maya (2015).
