Bollywood will witness a fresh pairing of Saand Ki Aankh actress Taapsee Pannu and Chapaak actor Vikrant Massey for an upcoming romantic thriller. Pannu who is riding hight with the success of Badla, Mission Mangal and critically acclaimed Saand Ki Aankh now has three releases up her slkevves for 2020.
Apart from Thappad and Rashmi Rocket already in her kitty already she has come on board for one project which is a romantic thriller by director Vinil Mathew. The untitled film will be bankrolled by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar under their banners Color Yellow Productions and T-Series. Vinil’s first Bollywood venture was Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Haase to Phasse.
Talking about the film, a source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “The makers thought a fresh pair would work in the film’s favour as it will keep the mystery element intact since there will be no preconceived notions about them as a couple.” The source further added that the film will be shot in North India but the location is not finalized yet. “But since the story is set in that part of the country, the makers want to keep it authentic.”
Vikrant is all set to start promotions for Deepika Padukone starrer Chappak based on the life and struggle of an acid attack survivor, the trailer of which will drop shortly.
