Taimur Ali Khan is a national obsession since his birth. Aged just about two, he has a staggering fan base who always keep themselves updated about his whereabouts and the paparazzi never miss out on clicking him at any event or even a casual outing.
With media paps hovering around him all the time, a doll-making company tried to cash in on Taimur’s popularity and it looks berserk!
Film Producer Ashwini Yardi shared a photo of the same stating how a Kerala store has been selling this Taimur-styled doll.Â
The next level creepy doll has garnered mixed reactions on Social media. Some even went on to compare the doll with Child’s play horrific character, Chucky!
This is also highly disturbing that people would buy a toy that looks like someone’s child and give that to their kids to play with or just buy it and collect it. Next level creepy? I think yes.

When Saif Ali Khan was informed about this Taimur doll, he seemed pretty amused as he said, "Maybe I should trademark his name…The least they could do is send me one! I am glad people are benefiting from him. I only ask God for his safety and happiness in return,â€.Â
However, Kareena’s opinion of the doll doesn’t matches with that of Saif! "Â
In interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Bebo admitted how she didn't know how to react looking at the doll at first as she said, "Taimur can’t run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what was I supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it is because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him. There is so much genuine warmth for our son that it’s bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But, they should understand that he is a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the media to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point. It’s tough on him as it’s on Saif and me.â€
Having spotted this, we’re definitely in shock and disbelief over the extent of Taimur's crazy fan-following.
On the last aired episode of Koffee With Karan 6, show host Karan Johar pointed out Taimur's pictures are sold at the highest bid according to the unofficial "rate chart" based on stars' popularity quotient.Â
Saif Ali Khan said in an interview in October that he wouldn't mind Taimur doing nappy commercials but Kareena stopped him from doing so, saying, "Don't be so cheap, you can't sell your son."
Time and again, Taimur has taken social media by storm with his adorable pictures from a play date, vacations with his parents and casual outings enjoying a walk or a sport with his dad Saif. And each time, he has melted thousands of hearts with his innocence and cute looks.
