And now onscreen Dhoni Sushant Singh Rajput has expressed his feelings on the cricketer's resignation from captaincy.
Sushant took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his gratitude towards the cricketer.
The actor shared a pictures of MS Dhoni and lauded the cricketer in the caption, saying "There is no one like you. You're the reason for millions of smiles. Take a bow my Captain."

Rajput bonded with Dhoni during the making of his biopic 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story', where SSR played the titular role.
In fact, in one of his earlier interview, Sushant had stated about Dhoni, "He's very interesting. He's got a very peculiar way of thinking... that's why we're making a film on him."
The actor gave one of the best performances of his career with the movie , which won accolades from the audience and the critics.
Not much are aware of the fact that it was Dhoni who had recommended Sushant's name for the biopic and the cricketer even lauded the actor's performance in the movie.
"Sushant is exceptional, he has totally imitated me the way I talk, the way I walk, he has copied everything, that’s the beauty of it," Dhoni was quoted as saying.
