Ajay Devgn’s much anticipated period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will open at theatres in December 21, 2019 and the actor has recently revealed the first look of Saif Alia Kahn as Udaybhan in the film. Ajay captioned the post, “Udaybhan Ke Darbar Mein Ghalati Ki Maafi Nahi Sirf Sazah Milti Hai…”

Saif’s look as the merciless ruler is on point with that sharp gaze, long hairs and stubble and will instantly take your back to his Langa Tyagi character in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara. The actor as Udaybhan dressed in armour and holding the hilt of a sword with both hands however draws much resemblance to Game of Thrones character Jon Snow.
As soon as the poster was released fans compared him with Ranveer Singh’s Khilji, the iconic villain in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and even Jon Snow of the popular HBO fantasy drama. Some of them even slammed the makers of the film for what they alleged was a lack of originality.
Just villain things
In my opinion #SaifAliKhan poster is best#TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior pic.twitter.com/SALhRQOVrA— naman pandit (@namanpndit) November 13, 2019
