Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta had kicked up a storm when she went all out against actor Nana Patekar for allegedly harassing her on the sets of Horn Ok Please. After Tanushree Dutta’s shocking revelation where she expressed that the trauma from 2008 incident still haunts her, the Bollywood fraternity including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Twinkle Khanna came out in support of the actress.
Giving another edge to the controversy, Actress Tanushree Dutta claims she hasn't received any legal notice from Nana Patekar, whom she has accused of harassing her on a film set 10 years ago.
Tanushree Dutta said that she is in talks with her lawyers and that Nana Patekar needs to "step up his game". "Given the recent developments, I am putting together a team of lawyers and advocates to defend my interests. Also, contrary to claims made by Nana Patekar's lawyer, I have not received any legal notice. So bluffmaster Gogo needs to step up his game a bit here," the 34-year-old actress told ANI on Saturday.
Earlier, in an interview to IANS, she recounted Nana's "misbehaviour" on the set. "He (Nana Patekar) called the MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) party to bash up my car. He was behind everything and was supported by Ganesh Acharya (choreographer)"
Responding to these allegations, Nana's lawyer Rajendra Shirodkar told news agency ANI, “In process of sending a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta as she has made false allegations & has spoken untruth. We will send the notice later today which will be basically a notice seeking apology for her statements making allegations.”
Former Miss India and Bollywood actor, Dutta has spent the last couple of days giving interviews about the harassment she faced 10 years ago at the hands of veteran actor Nana Patekar. According to the actor, she was a part of a song sequence along with Patekar, where the latter tried to touch her inappropriately.
