Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta kicked up a storm when she went all out against actor Nana Patekar for allegedly harassing her on the sets of Horn Ok Please.
Giving another edge to the controversy, Actress Tanushree Dutta claims she hasn't received any legal notice from Nana Patekar yet, she told news agency ANI yet again on Tuesday.
The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress said, "I haven't received any notice from Nana Patekar. These threats are put so that others like me would be scared to come forward. Anyone with a similar experience shouldn't worry about these kinds of intimidation tactics. The whole nation will support them." This statement from Tanushree comes just hours after she told the press about the attack on her car, which allegedly happened after she opted out of the film.
Meanwhile, Nana’s lawyer, Rajendra Shirodkar, confirmed that a legal noticed has been sent to Tanushree Dutta yesterday. The notice demands an apology from Tanushree for false accusations and allegations. He also added that Nana Patekar will hold a press conference with the media as soon as he’s back in the city, probably on October 5th or 6th.
The controversy has given rise to a situation of puzzlement. It seems like, the mystification around the legal notice has kicked up another turbulence.
Former Miss India and Bollywood actor, Dutta has spent the last few days giving interviews about the harassment she faced 10 years ago at the hands of veteran actor Nana Patekar. According to the actor, she was a part of a song sequence along with Patekar, where the latter tried to touch her inappropriately.
