Tanushree Dutta to file protest petition against Nana Patekar's clean cheat

New Delhi:

Tanushree Dutta a month back accused Mumbai police force of corruption for giving clean chit to Nana Patekar. To challenge, B’ Summery Report filed by Oshiwara Police Station, the actress through her legal representative Adv Nitin Satpute appeared before Ld Railway Mobile Court, Andheri.

According to the actress's advocate, the court after recording her appearance has granted time to file protest petition to oppose B Summery Report.

"Entire legal team of Team of Tanushree Dutta was present, not a single officer from Oshiwara police station was present in court room at the time of hearing to proceed on this matter. Matter adjourned to 7th Sept 2019." said a statement by her team

Mumbai Police has earlier informed the local court that they would not be able to prosecute Nana Patekar in the molestation case lodged against by Tanushree Dutta, due to lack of evidence.

The B- Summary report filed by the Oshiwara police in Mumbai said that Tanushree's complaint could have been lodged to seek revenge and that it seems "malicious and fake".

Tanushree Dutta responded to the Mumbai police with a hard-hitting statement obtained by DNA.

The actress wrote, "The Mumbai Police lied in its report to the court that my complaint with CINTAA did not have sexual harrassment in it. They were given the copy of my handwritten 2008 complaint to CINTAA that clearly mentioned sexual harrassment corroborating my 2018 FIR. In 2008 they had refused to even take my FIR and twisted and manipulated the complaint to protect the accused. Also everyone remembers that CINTAA had issued a written apology for not addressing that complaint.

The actress, who had accused Nana of misbehaving with her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008, said that the witnesses have been silenced by intimidation and that 'fake' witnesses have been put forth to weaken the case.

She added that she was just tired of fighting against oppressors, bullies and a corrupt system. "I mean if rape accused Alok Nath got a clean chit and returned to movies then surely it was not going to be difficult for harrassment accused Nana Patekar to get himself or shall we say buy himself a clean chit to continue to bully hapless young women. But the proof is often in the pudding and a gentle reminder to the Indian public to watch the video of my car being mercilessly attacked and broken while me and my family tried to escape from these monsters on Horn ok Pleasse set 10 years ago.

She even asked the prime Minister to intervene, "Modi ji.. what happened to a corruption free India?? A daughter of the country gets harassed by a serial offender, attacked by a mob in public, denied justice over and over again and her name is maligned, she is threatened, pressurised, her career is destroyed and literally driven out of the country to live a life of anonymity and your police force say her complaint is false and malicious!!! Yehi hai apka Ram Rajya?? Being born in a devout hindu family maine toh suna tha ki Ram naam satya hai toh phir kyun is desh mein asatya aur adharm ki bar bar Vijay hoti rahi hai?? Jawab dijiye mujhe.” said her statement
Last year, Tanushree created headlines when she accused Nana of behaving inapprorpiately with her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008. She said that he had tried to insert lewd and vulgar steps into the choreography for the song, despite her protests.

However, Nana maintains that no such thing happened and that there were 50 people on set, so it would have been impossible for him to molest her.
