Tanushree Dutta is making a comeback in a short film after being away from the limelight for quite some time. The actor, who made big waves during the #MeToo Movement after her alleged accusations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar will have her own ‘say’ in the screens with a short documentary. According to reports, the short film will bring into light the dark stories of sexual in Bollywood onscreen that has been titled, ‘Inspiration’.
Mid Day reports that the short documentary will be released online on March 8 on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The report reads, “It deals with the issue of wilful exploitation of young newcomers in showbiz or any other field where they don’t have mentors or guidance.” Explaining further if it will talk of a true episode, she simply said: “It is a new format where reality meets fiction.”
As per the reports, Dutta will be playing the role of a guardian angel who inspires the girls to make the right decision. Dutta is also reported to have written the dialogues, inspired by her own insight and understanding on the matter.
