Tanushree Dutta has accused Nana Patekar of alleged sexual harassment and intimidation on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’. The news has sparked a row of controversies with several personalities from the Bollywood fraternity taking her side. The statement released by a leading news channel said that Tanushree is upset about two things. “Farah’s Instagram post has appalled me. Being a woman herself, Farah has made her stand very clear by going ahead with Nana for the Housefull shoot,” said the actor.
The filmmaker’s followers took Tanushree’s side by criticising Farah for her post. Comments of disagreement and criticism flooded on the post. While one follower commented, “Shame on you to be so insensitive to the complaints of #tanushreedutta ..just coz she’s not part of your inner-circle doesn’t mean she does not exist. You should be standing by her for her brave & courageous attempt in speaking out about what happened with her,” “Is only money making everything for you @farahkhankunder. No humanity? We expect a lot from you being a fan. Women should respect and help other women!!! @iamtanushreeduttaofficial” wrote another.

Speaking for the allegations, Nana has denied misconduct as claimed by Tanushree and even revealed that he will be taking legal action against the latter. She also accused choreographer Ganesh Acharya to cover-up the incident and be on Nana’s side.
In another incident, Tanushree has raised finger on Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri. According to the actor, the director had asked her to take off her clothes during the shoot of her film ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’. She was thankful to Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan who stood for her then and acknowledged the actor’s integrity.
When the word of sexual harassment went public, many celebrities took her side and posted on their social media accounts in favour of Tanushree. Actors such as Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Twinkle Khanna, and Sonam Kapoor, among others have expressed their support on Twitter.
However, Tanushree has reacted strongly to Priyanka’s supportive tweet in which she referred to her as a survivor, whose story should be believed. Tanushree expressed pessimism over the tweet and said in an interview, “Well, it’s amazing. She ( Priyanka) has finally decided to join the bandwagon. It’s probably a smart thing to do at this point of time. But I just want people to know that I am not going to be reduced to a survivor. I have a name, I have a story and I have this truth that I am trying to get out because it’s not for me but for people who will come forward in the generations to come.”
