Recently, the actress opened up about being body-shamed. In an an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress said that she was constantly judged for her weight. Some people opined that she looked anorexic after she starred in SOTY 2. And, when she gained a few kilos, the actress was called fat and overweight. Even though she was underweight at the time.
Talking about how difficult it is to satisfy people prejudices, "People are never going to be satisfied and I think they just want to pull you down. That's something I have come to terms with it. But, it really bothered me earlier," the actress said.
The 23-year-old actress will be next seen in Marjaavaan along with Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra and it will hit the theaters on November 22. After Marjaavaan, the actress will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film RX 100, the film is titled as Tadap.
This is not the first time a Bollywood actress has been shammed for being skinny or for being curvy. Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra has also undergone such criticism from their followers.
