Veteran filmmaker N Chandra has rubbished the reports of being disturbed by the remake of the popular song Ek Do Teen from his movie Tezaab.
It was reported that the director was mighty miffed with the makers of Baaghi 2 for recreating the iconic number. In the new version, Jacqueline Fernandez was seen stepping into Madhuri Dixit's shoes.
The reports also suggested that he was upset with Jacqueline's performance and was even planning to take a legal action along with Saroj Khan who had choreographed the original song featuring Madhuri Dixit.
However, contrary to the reports, N Chandra, during his recent interaction with News Nation, said, "I like the song. If Madhuri did a fantastic job, Jacqueline was awesome in it."
He further asserted that the reports of him being disappointed with the new version of Ek Do Teen are false.
Interestingly, Jacqueline Fernandez's Ek Do Teen has received mixed reviews from the audience.
Tiger Shroff, who plays the lead role in Baaghi 2, said the idea of recreating the song was to pay tribute to a legend like Madhuri.
Talking about Baaghi 2, the movie also stars Disha Patani in the lead. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, the movie is scheduled to release on March 30 this year.
