Thala Ajith sustains serious shoulder injury, doing fine after undergoing surgery

Not so good news for the fans of Thala Ajith as the superstar is fondly called has sustained a serious injury to his shoulder while shooting for Vivegam in Bulgaria.

Ajith underwent a two-hour long surgery at Kumaran Hospital on Thursday. Reports say that the operation has been successful and the actor is recovering well.

In 2015, he had to undergo a knee surgery due to an injury he suffered on the sets of Vedalam. 

Reports also suggest that Sathya Jyothi Films, which produced Vivegam, may finance the next Ajith-Siva film.

Ajith participated in the 2004 British Formula 3 season as a Formula Two racing driver where he was ranked the third best motor car driver.
