Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu starrer 'The Ghazi Attack' is performing quite well at the box-office and has witnessed an upward momentum as far as collections are concerned.
The film earned Rs 4.25 crore on Friday and Rs 5.25 crore on Saturday. Based on the mysterious sinking of the Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi off the Visakhapatnam coast in 1971, the film is a fictional retelling of the supposed underwater skirmish between PNS Ghazi and Indian naval forces.
'The Ghazi Attack' is doing well at the box office despite facing a tough competition at the box office from megastar Akshay Kumar's satirical courtroom drama 'Jolly LLB 2'. The underwater Indo-Pak war saga has been released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil and also stars Kay kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Om Puri in key roles.
