Sonam Kapoor's upcoming movie The Zoya Factor's trailer is out now and gives us a sneak peek of 'India's lucky charm', Zoya Solanki and her complicated life that revolves around her mishaps and the Indian cricket team. The movie with its ensemble star cast featuring Dalquer Salman, Sanjeev Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Sikander Kher appears to be a laughter riot with some dramatic twists and turns and deals much about Indisn' blind faith on luck and destiny
The trailer opens with the birth of Zoya Solanki on the day of India's historic World Cup win in 1983. As Zoya starts her life as a professional in an ad firm a series of unlucky incident's rock her life like being dumped by her beau to almost losing her job, all until she meets her prince charming, captain of the Indian cricket team, Nikhil Khoda essayed by Dalquer Salman. Soon she becomes Indian cricket team's lucky charm and the only reason why India starts winning matches even in unlikely circumstances. Zoya becomes a goddess-like figure and is worshipped by all cricket crazy fans and people who believe in fate and destiny.

The film is based on Anuja Chauhan's best-selling novel 'The Zoya Factor'. In the first look that was released a few months back, Sonam and Dulquer are holding the copy of the novel and it also has the character name of both these actors.
About an hour before the trailer's release, Sonam took to Twitter and shared a new poster of the film. “Have no worries! Have no fear! ‘Cause the lady luck’s now here! What happens when Zoya Solanki meets Team India. Watch #TheZoyaFactor trailer at 1 PM and find out.”, she wrote along with it.

Earlier, the makers were eyeing to release it during ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, on June 14, 2019. However, now, the film will be hitting the screens on September 20, 2019.
