Throwback: Abhishek Bachchan proposed Aishwarya Rai in most ROMANTIC way

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday. The couple has often given serious relationship goals to others either through their impeccable chemistry or with their romance.

Indeed, Abhi-Aish's love story had every bit of the fairytale moments in it. But what made this relationship more romantic was the way Abhishek proposed the blue-eyed beauty.

Yes! It was indeed one of the most romantic proposal one could ever think of.

In one of his earlier interviews, Abhishek revealed how he thought of proposing her in a balcony of a New York hotel.

"I was filming in New York for a movie. And, I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, 'One day, wouldn't it be nice if I was together with her, married. Years later, we were there for the premiere of Guru. After the premiere, we were back in the hotel. So, I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me," Abhishek was qouted as saying.

In fact, the 'Guru' actor even wrote about it on micro-blogging site Twitter early this year.

He tweeted, "10 years ago on a freezing New York balcony, she said "yes"."

Interestingly, it was reported that the cupid struck Abhi-Ash had struck the couple during the shooting of song 'Kajra Re' also featuring Amitabh Bachchan.

However, AB proposed the former beauty queen after a couple of years of togetherness.

The couple even has a five-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
