Karan Johar is all set to roll out one of the most-awaited films of the year- Student Of The Year 2. The cast and crew of the film have started shooting for the romantic drama in Dehradun on Monday.
The film which stars Tiger Shroff in lead role is the sequel of the hit film Student Of The Year. Interestingly, the film will be shot in Dehradun’s Saint Teresa school, the very same place where the first part was shot.
Student Of The Year 2 will be helmed by Punit Malhotra, who previously directed Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and I Hate Luv Stories.

There have been a lot of speculations over the female lead of Student Of The Year and it seems the wait is finally over. Karan Johar took to Twitter to announce that the final cast of the film would be revealed on Wednesday, April 11.
Before starting the shooting of SOTY 2, KJo went down the memory lane and posted an emotional message, revealing that first part would always remain special for him. Â
SOTY marked the B-town debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. All of them have now gone on to cement their place in the industry.
Grapevines are buzzing with the rumours that Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey will play the lead role opposite Tiger. Unlike the first part which had two heroes, SOTY 2 will have two heroines opposite the Heropanti star.
Tiger Shroff is currently on a career high, post the success of Baaghi 2. The action thriller has managed to woo the audience with its high-octane action sequences.
We just can’t wait to see Tiger go back to school with Student Of The Year 2, which is slated to hit the silver screens on November 23.
