Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif who is gearing up for the release of Tiger Zinda Hai will be grace the 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).The 'Dhoom 3' actress will be the special guest at the closing ceremony of the coveted film festival.
The 'Jab Tak Hain Jaan' star will be visiting the film festival for the first time ever. "I look forward to being a part of IFFI 2017. This year is special because it will be my first visit there. I'm happy to be part of Asia's oldest festival as it celebrates the Future of cinema this year," The 34-year-old actor said in a statement.
Katrina's co-star from her upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan too will be part of the closing ceremony. The 'Dabangg' actor will be accompanied by child artist Matin Tey Tangu who was also part of Tubelight.
Tiger Zinda Hai which is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar will hit the silver screens on December 22. The much-awaited film is the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger which was released in 2012.
Salman and Katrina will be paired together after a gap of five years and fans can't seem to wait their favourite couple back on the cinema screens. The first song of their upcoming movie- 'Swag Se Swagat' was released today and has increased the excitement among movie lovers.

The 48th edition of IFFI was inaugurated by Shah Rukh Khan on November 20. Bollywood biggies liked Shahid Kapoor, AR Rehman and Sridevi were part of the opening ceremony in Goa.
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan will be bestowed with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award at the prestigious film festival.
