In the flick, Vidya Balan plays the role of a middle-class housewife who somehow becomes a late-night radio jockey. This is the second time she played RJ after ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ in 2006.
‘Tumhari Sulu’ also features Manav Kaul as Vidya’s husband, Neha Dhupia as her boss and the flick also has RJ Malishka Mendonsa in pivotal role.
Helmed by Suresh Triveni, songs of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ are also loved by the audience especially, ‘Ban ja Rani’ sung by Guru Randhawa.
‘Tumhari Sulu’ comes as a relief to Vidya Balan after failures such as Begum Jaan, Kahaani 2, Humari Adhuri Kahaani, Bobby Jasoos, Shaadi Ke Side Effects.
