Twitter has gone all-detective after Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt announced that they will be sharing the screen for Sanjay Leela Bhansaliâ€™s Inshallah. While many rejoiced to seeing the duo together for the first time, some just cannot come to terms with the â€˜unusual pairingâ€™ of the duo and their 30-year age gapÂ age difference.
After Salman and Alia took the official news to Twitter, some netzines wasted no time to dig up old pictures of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt, in an effort to exhibit their age gap. One picture which cannot be missed however is from one fan who shared a throwback picture of grown Salman with a baby Alia Bhatt with the caption â€œWho wouldâ€™ve thought they will work together as a lead pair. #Inshallah.
Salman and Alia had earlier officially confirmed to sharing the screen together for Sanjay Leela Bhansaliâ€™s next. Bhai, who is collaborating with the Padmaavat filmmaker after 20 years took to Twitter to welcome his yellow co-star onboard, he wrote, â€œItâ€™s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.â€
Alia, also on her part shared her excitement of working with the ace filmmaker and Salman, she wrote, â€œDream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I canâ€™t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah.â€ She also tweeted, â€œI was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansaliâ€™s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. Itâ€™s been a long wait.â€
The movie titled Inshallah will be the first for Salman and Alia on the same screen. Alia meanwhile is but with Abhishek Varmanâ€™s period drama,Â Kalank, while Salman who just finished his movie production Notebook got many praises with the trailer release. He also released the official music video ofÂ Main TaareÂ on Monday.
