UP CM Akhilesh Yadav remembers Om Puri, says 'His voice will remain in our hearts forever'

Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has paid his respects to veteran actor Om Puri who passed away on Friday.

Om Puri died at the age of 66 due to a massive heart attack.

Akhilesh took it to micro-blogging site, to condole Puri's death.

He shared a second video of Om Puri and thanked him for his contribution in Jayaprakash Narayan Interpretation Center.

Om Puri has lend his voice for the initiative.

In his tweet, Akhilesh wrote that Om's voice will remain in our hearts forever.

Earlier, several big shots too had paid their respect to Om Puri. 

Celebrities like Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Irrfan, Gulzar, Shakti Kapoor, Prakash Jha, Satish Kaushik, Ranvir Shorey, Abhishek Chaubey, Rahul Dholakia, Manoj Bajpayee, Ketan Mehta, Nawazuddin Siddique, Pankaj Kapoor, Ramesh Sippy, Shyam Benegal, Sudhir Mishra and Piyush Mishra others paid their last respects to the actor at his funeral.
