Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike, one of the most anticipated movies of the year 2019 has made it big at the box office earning Rs 20.63 crore. The movie was released along Anupam Kher's political drama The Accidental Prime Minister but managed to hit the mark despite tough competition.

Uri: The Surgical Strike has mostly received positive reviews and with the positive word-of-mouth, the movie is expected to churn out good at the box office in its first weekend.

While the flick starring Vicky Kaushal skyrocketed, Anupam Kher's The Accidental Prime Minister has managed to gross a decent Rs7-Rs7.5 crore on its second day.
