Just weeks before Street Dancer 3D’s release, Varun Dhawan has taken out his time to dedicate his character's look in upcoming movie to the late Ace of Space contestant Danish Zehen. Tweeting to his fans that Zehen was the inspiration behind the look of ‘Sahej’, Varun tweeted, ‘’The handsome DANISH was the inspiration for SAHEJ’s look in #streetdancer. Danish is no more and is in a better place but is loved by so many so I thought I should share this so people should know that he even inspired us @remodsouza. sir suggested this and then we went forit’’.

Danish Zehen, more popularly known for his promising YouTube career and as a participant in the Ace of Space television series died in a tragic car accident last year on December 20. According to sources, the 21-year-old was returning from a wedding when the accident took place near Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
As for the movie, Varun will be seen in battling the dance floor alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fadehi.
Talking about the movie director Remo said that Varun and Shraddha have impressed him with his dance skills and fans have every reason to be excited about the film.
'The story of Street Dancer is close to my heart. The way Varun, Shraddha, and I are bringing the story alive on the screen, the audience will become a fan of the film. It is an inspirational story and a family entertainer,'' Remo said, speaking to IANS.
''Dance and acting both are performing arts. The more you do it, the more you mature. That is what happened to Varun and Shraddha. I am impressed by Varun’s maturity as a dance performer. Of course, we have collaborated before, and we know how good he is as a dancer. But in our upcoming film, he has really taken it to the next level,'' he added.
The film will be made in 3D. It will hit the screens on January 24.
