Veena Malik's husband Asad Bashir Khan Khattak has apologised to the actress and is hoping to clear all the misunderstandings.
The Pakistani actress' married life hit the headlines after it was reported that Malik had called off her three-year wedding with Asad.
It was reported that Veena divorced Asad over an argument about her comeback in showbiz.
Talking about the same, Asad was quoted saying during a television interview, “I still love you and our children a lot. Veena, I am really sorry if I have hurt you or I bothered you in any way.”
On being probed about his terms with Veena, Khattak sang praises about his lady love and stated that they are still good friends.
“Veena is a good wife, a good mother and a good friend. “I speak to her daily and we are good friends," Asad added.
Asad also reportedly dismissed the reports saying that he was against Veena's decision to comeback in showbiz industry and hopes to reconcile things with her.
“We will work out and try to clear our misunderstandings. We will soon be together again,” he said.
Veena had reportedly filed the khula (divorce) application in January and had been living separately along with her daughter and son.
She was married to Asad since December 2013.
