Veteran actor Kader Khan’s health is critical and has been put on BiPAP ventilator. According to a report in spotboye.com, the actor, who is currently stationed in Canada with his son Sarfaraz and daughter-in-law Shahista reportedly complained of breathlessness and was shifted from a normal ventilator to a special ventilator. The report further states that the actor has stopped talking and is currently showing symptoms of pneumonia. His present condition results from the PSP ailment he's suffering from, adds the report.
The report also states that while a team of doctors has been dedicatedly working on the veteran actor’s health, his condition continue to remain delicate. His son Sarfaraz told a media portal that recently Kader underwent knee surgery. Despite successful surgery, the actor couldn't walk owing to his ill health. "The surgery did not go wrong. It was just that my father refused to get up after the surgery. We were told that he has to make an effort and try to start walking from the next day. He just didn't do that and..." said Sarfaraz.
In an interview in 2015, Kader Khan had said that many producers and directors in Bollywood didn’t want to work with him after he fell ill. But the actor wanted to make a comeback as a writer. “There has been a difference in the level of writing. As a writer, I feel that I should come back. I’ll try my best to bring the earlier zubaan (language) back and people are definitely going to enjoy talking in that zubaan,” said Khan.
The actor, who was last seen in Aman Ke Farishtey, has left an indelible imprint on the hearts and minds of cinebuffs with his memorable performances in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Lucky, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Joru Ka Ghulam, Fun2shh, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Anari No. 1, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, Aunty No. 1, Benarasi Babu, Judaai and Judwaa among others.
