Reportedly the actress and the accused had known each other for a while. However, their relationship soured over a dispute after which the accused businessman stalked the actress in an attempt to convince her to talk to him.
After failed attempts at convincing the accused to stop stalking, the senior actress decided to file a complaint against him. She also reportedly alleged that the businessman duped her of Rs 15.5 crore.
