Uri: The Surgical Strike’s star, Vicky Kaushal got injuredwhile shooting for his upcoming horror film. The actor ws in Gujarat shooting for Bhanu Pratap Singh’s untitled horror flick when heb hurt his cheekbone.
According to Mid-day, Vicky had to shoot a hard-core action scene where he had to rush and open the door. The door however fell on him and injuued his face miserably. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctor mentioned that his cheekbone had been fractured.
The mishap happened during a night shoot in Alang, Gujarat, the place which boasts the World's biggest ship breaking yard. The team was on a rigorous scheduled until Vicky got injured, bringing the shoot to a halt for time being. Well, we really hope Vicky hasn't suffered severe injuries on his face and he recovers soon.
Vicky needed 13 stitches to heal the injury on his face. Later, he returned to Mumbai to show his injury to a specialist. The actor will stay away from shooting for a fewv days until the wounds heal.
The first schedule of the upcoming horror film has already been shot in Mumbai. Helmed by debut director Bhanu Pratap Singh, the horror film will also star Bhumi Pednekar. Well, we wish the Uri star a speedy recovery!
Vicky kaushal will also been starring in a mythological film with Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar where he'll be seen essaying the role of Ashwatthama, son of Guru Dronacharya of Mahabharata.
