Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu which opened on a slow note has picked up pace at the box office. The comedy-drama film which was released on November 17 had collected Rs. 2.87 crore on its opening day.
The Suresh Triveni directorial witnessed growth on Saturday and minted Rs. 4.61 crore. The film has received a good response on Sunday and went on to collect Rs. 5.69 crore. With this, Tumhari Sulu has raked in Rs. 12.87 crore in its first weekend.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office collection of the film.

Vidya Balan played the role of a Mumbai housewife, Sulochana who turns into a late night RJ at a radio station. The 'Kahani' actress has been appreciated for her brilliant performance by both critics and audience.
The 'Dirty Picture' actress thanked her fans on Instagram for giving a positive feedback to the film.
The film which is produced under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment also stars Neha Dhupia, Manav Kaul and RJ Malishka in key roles.
