Virat Kohli Sets Instagram Record At 50 Million Followers, Priyanka Chopra Tails Closely

Team India’s captain Virat Kohli on Monday has set a new Instagram milestone as he became the first Indian to scoop a massive 50 million followers on the photo sharing portal. Tailing closely behind Virat is our desi girl Priyanka Chopra at 49.9 million followers while  Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt came in the third position and fourth position at 44.1 and 43 million followers.

Even Bollywood superstar Salman Khan couldn't win the race with skipper Virat Kohli for getting huge followers on Instagram. 'Dabangg 3' actor has 29.7 million followers on Insta and is following 8 people. 

Another sports icon to be winning the game in followers and winning it is Cristiano Ronaldo at a jaw-dropping 203 million followers making him the most and the most-followed celeb ever. Singer Ariana Grande follows right up at 175 million followers.

As for the Cricket domain, captain Kohli is leading the Indian team in New Zealand. After the T20Is and ODIs, the two teams will have a face-off in two-match Test series. The first Test will be played at the Basin Reserve in Wellington and will get underway on February 21.
