Reuniting Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali since 1999, the talk about Inshallah’s making starring Bhai and Alia Bhatt was met with excitement by a lot of fans. As much as the excitement was for the movie, the movie saw heaps and heaps of hurdles along the way with gossips suggesting that the movie has been put on a standstill because of Bhansali and Salman’s creative differences while some speculate that the movie have been shelved because of monetary factors.
One such speculations that is putting the movie at the back of the calendar suggests that the movie was shelved because Salman recommended Daisy Shah and Waluscha De Sousa’s names for the film which Bhansali did not agree to. So what is the depth to this rumour? Waluscha speaking to ET said that the rumours were ‘utter rubbish’
Sitting down with the daily, the actor said, “Let me get this right. No one can recommend anyone for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. You have to earn it! You get cast for a Bhansali film, you don’t need to be pushed for it by anyone. So these reports of Salman suggesting my name to Sanjay are utter rubbish!”
Earlier this week, Salman took to Twitter as a follow-up to the blow teasing that he might have a little something for fans. ‘’The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!’’.
The next day however Bhansali Productions and Salman himself confirmed that they won’t go going ahead with the movie as of now.
