“Firstly, this story is about a person’s dream, it is about a father’s relationship with his daughters, it is about two small town girls who went on to conquer the world. The story has so many layers of emotions and relations - you will see patriotism, an attempt to change the mentality towards girls. Besides, I loved the humor quotient of the story. So, there were many things that touched my heart and made me feel that I must do this movie,” Aamir said.
The superstar underwent extensive training for his role in the movie and hade major weight transformations as well.
‘Dangal’ is a story of Mahavir Singh’s struggle to who fought against all odds to mould his daughters Geeta-Babita into wrestling champions.
