New Delhi:
Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai? a 1980s cult classic starring Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil is being remade and the movie will hit the screens on April 12, 2019.
The makers of the movie shared the trailer and just like its original version, the movie seems to an edgy crime thriller.
Sharing the news on his official Twitter account, Manav Kual who plays the lead role of Albert Pinto wrote, "# AlbertPinto is back. Find out why — Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai? Trailer out now!"

The original version of Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai? was based on Saeed Akhtar's own story and it will be exciting to see how fans react to the remake of the Naseeruddin starrer.Â
The film will see the comeback of Nandita Das as an actress. She was last seen in Bollywood movies 2011 when she played the role of a single woman wanting to have a child by herself and a sperm donor.Â
Manav Kaul was last seen in Tumhari Sulu opposite Vidya Balan. He was also a part of popular movies like Jolly LLB 2, Kai Po Che and web series Goul.
The movie has been directed by Soumitra Ranade
