On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, when India is celebrating 148th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, actor Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma pays tribute to the ‘Father of the Nation’ through a short video.

Varun Dhawan took his Twitter handle and shared the teaser of his forthcoming flick ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and captioned it, To the man who began the #MadeInIndia journey. We salute the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi’’.

In the 47-sec video, both Varun and Anushka talks about the famous Gandhi’s Swadeshi movement.

Speaking about the upcoming film Anushka Sharma said, "It is a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect to the grassroots level with every Indian’’.

Praising the leaders of India, ‘Judwaa 2’ star said, that from Gandhi to Narendra Modi, India’s leaders have always endorsed the mantra for Made in India. He further said that he feels proud to take their message out to the millions of movie lovers in entertaining form.

‘’I really liked the script Sharat had written and I am happy that I am teaming up with YRF on this movie. Anushka and me are teaming up for the first time so I am sure there will be fireworks’’.

Directed and written by Sharat Katariya, ‘Made in India’ will be released next year on Gandhi Jayanti.

Actor Akshay Kumar also tweeted and shared his eagerness towards the film.

Currently, Varun Dhawan is enjoying the huge box-office opening of his latest release ‘Judwaa 2’.
