Actor Varun Dhawan and girlfriend Natasha Dalal were captured by the paparazzi outside Shashank Khaitan’s residence on Thursday night for his birthday bash. As soon as he reached the place, a bunch of photographers gathered around his car during which one of them got hurt as his foot got run over by the actor's car.
In a video that is going viral on social media, a photographer is heard saying, ''Pair pe chadhaya (He ran over my foot)!”As soon as Varun realises what happened, he stepped out of the car to check if the injured photographer is fine. Later in the clip, Varun is heard saying, "Tumko photo kab nahi diya hai ki tum log aisa karte ho? Main nikal ke aata hoon na tum logon ke paas. Kyun halla karte ho? Kab nahi diya hai? Roz toh deta hoon (When have I not given you pictures that you resort to this? I always come out and pose for you. Why do you create such a commotion? When have I not given any pictures? I pose for you every day)."

On the personal front, Varun and Natasha's relationship is going strong. Recently, there were reports suggesting the couple is planning a grand wedding in Goa.
''Apparently, Varun and Natasha are planning to get married in May this year. It will be a grand summer wedding, spanned over a week, with all the events including mehendi, sangeet and reception—and mostly in Goa at a luxury hotel or beach resort, the way his brother Rohit had got married eight years ago to Jaanvi at Park Hyatt in Goa. A few Bollywood bigwigs have been informed to keep some dates between the second and third week of May for Varun and Natasha’s wedding free, though those dates too are being a closely guarded secret. But it won’t be a secret wedding like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. For Varun’s wedding, it will be band, baaja and baraat for Bollywood,'' said a report in Bollywood Hungama.
On the work front, Varun wrapped up the shoot of David Dhawan’s Coolie No 1, which also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. The film is a reboot of the filmmaker’s 1995 hit of the same name, which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The film is slated to hit the theatres on May 1.
