Vicky Kaushal, who was last seen in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, is basking in the success of his movies. Vicky is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie, Uri. While proving his mettle as an actor, the Manmarziyaan star has a secret crush on Katrina Kaif.

Katrina on ‘Koffee with Karan’ expressed her desire to work with Vicky Kaushal. Katrina said she felt she’d make a good pair with the Sanju star. Karan Johar acting as a perfect wingman, passed the message to the Uri actor. Vicky on hearing this went into disbelief and pretended to faint on hearing about it.

Recently, Vicky Kaushal shelled out the courage to put forth his feelings for the actress on the stage of Star Screen Awards. The ‘Lust Stories’ star dedicated the title track of ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ to Katrina Kaif during the light-hearted conversation. Salman Khan, who was sitting among the attendees, had a hilarious reaction to Vicky’s proposal. Salman pretended to doze off on his sister Arpita’s shoulders and woke up suddenly as if he missed the entire conversation.

Vicky Kaushal had a great 2018 with back-to-back hits in Sanju, Raazi and Manmarziyaan among others and he hopes the trend continues in the new year. The actor underwent extensive military training for Uri, based on Indian Army’s surgical strikes across the LoC on Pakistan as a retaliation for the Uri attack in 2016. Uri also features Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam and popular TV actor Mohit Raina among others.

Other than Uri, Vicky Kaushal is all set to woo the audience with historical drama, Takht, that also stars Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
