Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was presented with Power Packed Performer Award for her comeback in Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa from Rekha. After this Aishwarya attracted a lot of eyeballs for calling Rekha “maa” at the Sansui Stardust Awards. Rekha presented the award to Aishwarya for making an impressive comeback in Jazbaa.
During her acceptance speech, Ash is believed to have said, “Thank You Maa”. The words not only shocked the audience but also the viewers watching the show. To this Rekha replied, "I hope I can give it to you for many more years."
Even more shocking was the scene when Rekha and Jaya Bachchan were seen hugging each other warmly at the Star Screen Awards.
Rekha and Amitabh were said to be dating each other and this is told to be the reason why the trio Rekha, Jaya and Amitabh were never seen sharing the screen together after Silsila.
