When Kangana Ranaut 'almost' slapped comedian Sugandha Mishra on national television
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for not mincing her words, has once again raked up a controversy after she admitted to have felt like slapping comedian Sugandha Mishra on national television.
The incident took place during the promotions of 'Rangoon' on the singing based reality show 'The Voice Of India'.
According to the media reports, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut were seen promoting their movie on the show, which was being hosted by comedian Sugandha Mishra.
During this special episode, singers Shaan and Salim Merchant asked Sugandha to imitate the 'Queen' actress.
But the stand-up comedian's mimicry act didn't go down well with Ranaut and she reportedly ended up saying, "I feel like slapping her".
"It was a nail biting moment after Kangana's shocking statement. It surely was an awkward moment for Sugandha, but she took it in a sporting spirit and continued with the shoot," a source reportedly told a news agency "
Interestingly, this is not the first time when Kangana has made the headlines with her harsh words.
Earlier, the actress had bagged the attention with her legal tussle with Hrithik Roshan, wherein both the actors were embroiled in mudslinging.
Talking about 'Rangoon', the movie happens to be a love story set against the backdrop of World War II.
Also starring Saif Ali Khan, it brings together the three actors on-screen for the first time. 'Rangoon' is helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is scheduled for release on February 24.
