Kartik Aaryan is currently basking in the success of his latest release Luka Chuppi which also stars Kriti Sanon in a pivotal role. The film has grossed around Rs. 71.48 crore at the box office in 12 days. However, Kartik thinks that he needs to be more careful about his film choices now. He also revealed that he is envious of Ranbir Kapoor because of his choice of films.
"If there is a two-hero film, I would love to have Ranbir Kapoor as my co-star. He is an amazing actor and his choice of films makes me envy him,'' he said. When asked if Ranbir is a role model, he replied saying, "I'd say every actor I've grown up watching from Mr Amitabh Bachchan to Ranbir and Ranveer are my role models. And I hope one day some newly arrived actor will see me as a role model."
He also explained how he needs to work harder now and needs to be aware of his choices of films. On the work front, Kartik is currently busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite Sara Ali Khan. Recently, a video of the two shooting for a romantic sequence went viral on the internet. The video that surfaced shows the two engaging in a lip lock and from the ambience, it looks like the video has been shot in a disco.

The first installment of the movie saw Sara's dad Saif Ali Khan romancing Deepika Padukone and now it is a huge feat for Kartik as well as Sara to get an opportunity to work with Ali so soon in their career. Kartik is also set to star in Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film also features Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in prominent roles. Â
