World Economic Forum 2018: Shah Rukh Khan conferred with Crystal Awards in Davos

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been conferred with the Crystal Award in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum 2018.

Crystal Award celebrates achievements of artists.

“I am extremely charged that I've had this amazing opportunity. This award has recognized whatever minuscule work that I have done so far. This is a great boost and I'd like to go ahead with even more fervour. What is even more pleasant is that India is here in full power,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

Another prominent Bollywood personality, producer/director Karan Johar is also in Davos. He said that the ruling of the Supreme Court in favour of Padmaavat is a matter of happiness.

“The law has prevailed. I hope for a safe release. I am very proud that Shah Rukh Khan has been being conferred with the Crystal Award,” said Johar.
