The rumors of Anushka Sharma's hush hush engagement with her cricketer beau Virat Kohli has taken the tinselvile with a storm.
It is being reported that couple will be exchanging the rings in Uttarakhand on January 1.
However, amidst all the speculations about Virat-Anushka's engagement, the prestigious production banner Yash Raj Films, under which
Anushka started her Bollywood career in 2008 and delivered many hits, has refuted all the rumors.
According to a report published in Indian Express, YRF has rubbished the reports of Anushka getting engaged to Kohli anytime soon.
"No, the reports of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli’s engagement is just not true and there are no such plans of the duo to our knowledge,” a source from the production house reportedly told the leading daily.
Interestingly, no official announcement has been made by Virat or Anushka either in this regard.
However, reports are rife that the couple will be taking their relationship to the next level on the New Year's Day. In fact, it is also reported that their engagement will be a grand ceremony and will be attended by Kapoors, Bachchans and Ambanis.
Adding fuel to the fire is Anushka-Virat's holiday pictures from Uttarakhand.
Though the couple has not shared picture together from their vacation, but their pictures bear a striking resemblance dropping major hints of them being together in the hilly area.
Both Anushka and Virat shared pictures with similar background on Instagram. Besides, the two were even sporting a rudraksha mala in their pictures.
Apparently, this is not the first time the reports of Virat-Anushka's engagement has been doing the rounds. While the earlier one turned out to be hoax, we wonder if there is any truth behind the rumors this time.
