Bhojpuri Singer Malini Awasthi on Wednesday in a post on Facebook took a shot at Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao over Dangal girl Zaira Wasim controversy. She took a jibe at Aamir Khan, questioning him about his wife’s opinion over the controversy.
Malini Awasthi also said that the teenager was very much talented and pseudo liberals should support her.
Wasim, who shot to fame for her stellar performance in the movie, was unwittingly caught up in controversy over her meeting with Mufti in the backdrop of the unrest in the Valley.
She had posted a letter of apology on social media mentioning to Kashmiri youth that don’t consider her role model and follow her footsteps, then deleted it.
Earlier, Aamir had backed Zaira, saying that she is a role model for the superstar. He also appealed to everyone to leave the 16-year-old actress alone.
