'Pink' is a socially relevant drama, says writer Ritesh Shah

Screenwriter Ritesh Shah is all set to add one more successful drama to his kitty with upcoming movie 'Pink' that stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.

With commercial hits like 'Airlift', 'Citylights', 'Force', 'Kahaani' and 'Namastey London' already tagged to his name, now he is all set to present a brand new tale that revolves around the life of three young women in Delhi.

Ritesh calls 'Pink' a socially relevant drama about three working girls. On asking to elaborate a bit more about the script he says, "the film presents an incident that teaches girls the real value of law in their lives."

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Pink is an upcoming courtroom drama-thriller that stars Big B, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang in the pivotal roles.

Pink is scheduled to hit the silver screens on September 16, 2016.
