Aamir Khan who is prepping for the remake of one of Hollywood’s most loved movies, Forrest Gump title Laal Singh Chaddha will reportedly be meeting Tom Hanks himself to play Sikh Forrest Gump. A report by an entertainment portal that has fans all hype up writes, “Viacom 18 is looking at arranging the meeting between Tom Hanks and Aamir Khan as a warm-up to the remake.”
While no confirmation regarding the source has been made official, the report is enough to make fans all excited who just can’t wait to see Aamir take cues from the Hollywood star, Hanks himself.
Kareena Kapoor Khan who made an appearance with Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots (2009) and Talaash (2013) is believed to play Jenny to Hindi’s version of Forrest Gump.

Method actor Aamir will be playing a Sikh character, who has a low IQ. For his character, Aamir is also reported to have lost 20 kg picking on a special diet of subzi-roti and some protein.
Laal Singh Chaddha will begin its shoot from November 4 and is expected to hit the screens by Christmas of 2020.
