Akshay Kumar’s first movie of the coming year, Bell Bottoms that was recently pushed to April 2021 will see a fresh pairing. Reports suggest, the period spy thriller will see Vaani Kapoor romancing the actor.
As per reports, the script of Bell Bottom demanded a fresh pairing and Akshay Kumar who was seen in several actress opposite him with see Vaani Kapoor for Bell Bottoms. “It’s not the usual female lead, a few romantic scenes and songs. She plays Akshay’s wife and is integral to the story,” as quoted and reported Pinkvilla.
The shooting will start in September. Given the Coronavirus outbreak, film bolides have halted shootings and government asked to shut down theatres and therefore, post normalcy sets in, the makers of Bell bottom will start the recee.
Addressing reports that the movie in question will be a remake of 2019 Kannada film Bell Bottom, the actor said, it is an original script inspired by true events. Apart from Nikkhil Advani, the movie will also be co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani.
The first look of the movie was released last year. The actor is seen sporting, retro era vibes in his bell bottom trousers and the walrus mustache. The actor is seen leaning on a red car as an airplane hover over him.
Meanwhile, given the Coronavirus outbreak, production houses have cancelled shootings after the government asked to shut down theatres and therefore, post normalcy sets in, the makers of Bell bottom will start the recee.
