New Delhi :
With countless dates and outings, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s love-life has blossomed into a seemingly, fruitful one, this time however, Arjun went on date but, sans Malaika! Before rushing into conclusions, Arjun, went on a date but a hypothetical one, per-say. The Panipat star went on his ‘first’ blind date for Karan Johar's reality show on Netflix – What the Love!, a show where KJo select six people he wants to help find love from a roomful of hopeful candidates aided by celebs and known personalities.
Talking about the experience on the show, Arjun, surprisingly revealed how his blind date on the show was his first actual date,
"It's my first blind date. Actually my first 'date' really, especially since I've become an actor, so it was surprisingly fun.
"I was nervous but it was nice, Ashi is a fun girl. She's filmy and she's got a silly, goofy sense of humour.
"She has a lot of layers to peel off but I guess that's something that will happen in due course but I enjoyed myself. It's a nice memory to hold on to."
As for Arjun and Malaika, the pair are still very much-in-love, constantly updating cutesy pics of them together on their social media. Talking about wedding bells, the duo are taking things very slow, with Malaika, telling Pinkvilla,
"Why is everybody in such a hurry? You cannot jump the gun where these things are concerned. If and when it has to happen, it will happen.
Right now, we are in a space where we just want to discover each other".
Arjun, meanwhile also spoke to HT on family’s pressure to settle down with Malaika Arora.
“The thing is, a lot of my family members realise that main sunta sabki hoon, karta apni hoon. They stop telling me at a certain point. I have never let them down with the way I have conducted myself. They have implicit faith that if I am making a choice or a decision, it comes from a practical side. I’ve always been a little more mature than I should have been. I bear the brunt of it sometimes because I’m able to handle everything without burdening them. They also know that whenever I want to take a decision of that proportion, it will be taken keeping them in mind, not too soon or late, just when I feel it’s right.”
