Jeremy Renner Might Not Return As Hawkeye In Disney Plus Show

New Delhi:

Jeremy Renner might not return as the mohawk- style, sharp-shooter Hawkeye in Disney Plus 'Hawkeye' show if we are to go by reports. According to reports, Renner, who, seemingly stay low form the limelight despite being one of the Marvel’s most-badass heroes is gong through another battle of his own. His ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, has filed a motion for sole custody of their daughter, with the reason being that Renner regularly abuses cocaine and alcohol, even threatening to kill her according to reports.

While no concrete evidence has been laid out against the actor, Marvel might remove Renner on removing Clint Barton from their Disney Plus Hawkeye show. This news was in fact brought forward by Daniel Richtman who posted the famous gif of the actor with ‘Heard Marvel are considering some options just in case they'll decide not to use Renner for the Hawkeye show’ caption.

In Hawkeye, Barton is supposed to train a new generation. The Hawkeye legacy was passed down to Kate Bishop in recent comics. And Marvel Studios is eyeing Hailee Steinfeld for the new role. With Marvel being not-so-lenient towards firing big-shots one that even included Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn, which they eventually later rehired, we just hope Renner does not undergo the same fate.

As of now the allegations against the actor are just accusations which we also hope stays that way. Renner split with Pacheco back in 2014.
