Current buzz is Shah Rukh ending months of speculation will announce his next film on his birthday this Saturday (November 2) following Aamir Khan who too made the official announcement of Laal Singh Chadha on his day.
As fans are in all likelihood want to believe that Shah Rukh is teaming up with Bigil-director Atlee for a masala entertainer, fresh reports suggest the movie will be titled, Sanki. It will be co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and go on floors in December.
The film is a commercial potboiler and will reportedly feature SRK in the role of a hot-headed hero.
Earlier, during a press meet for Bigil, filmmaker Harish Shankar had confirmed the news about Atlee’s next with SRK. “Atlee sir is going to direct King Khan, SRK. Being a huge fan of SRK, I’m waiting for this combo so that I can also come to that function and see SRK. I’m a huge fan of King Khan. All the best for all your ventures,” Harish had said, while Atlee smiled and joined his hands in thanks.
The question that ponders us is if Sanki will be a remake of Atlee's Tamil hits or will it be a new subject altogether and the bigger question is who will be the heroine opposte Shah rukh this time.
Shah Rukh Khan’s last appearance was in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The actor was recently featured in a special episode of David Letterman’s My Next Guest on Netflix that took the internet by storm reviving his starpower once and for all.
