Jon Hamm to be the future Batman, replacing Ben Affleck? Stakes are high!
Jon Hamm who led the ship of “Mad Men” rise to a hit has expressed an interest in playing superhero Batman but on one condition! Well, the superhero admirer will do the movie, only if the script it right enough for him.
The 47-year-old actor in an interview with Graham Bensinger talked about how thrilled he is to play the role of Caped Crusader in a new flick. He narrated provocative stories of his character play and also asserted that there were only rumours to him till date and no actual confirmation ever broke to him.
"I've had rumours about that since probably, since season one of 'Mad Men'. I've never... I've never had a conversation with anybody about it. Literally. And I've sat in the rooms with all these guys. Never been offered anything. I think the internet wants what it wants. Can't control the internet," Hamm said.
It turns out that the Mad Men actor is a chivalrous fan of comic books and was always delighted about them since he was a tiny kid of not more than nine years. He also empowers a plethora of the superhero comic books.
"So there's a lot of interesting things out there. But it depends on the story, you know? It all comes down to the story," he added.
Hamn fans will be overjoyed as reports surfaced the internet on Wednesday that actor Ben Affleck, who was the current face of Batman in the DC Extended Universe waved goodbye to the franchise.
